Shri Sanjay Kumar is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree. He joined GAIL in the year 1988 and over the next three and a half decades has worked in various roles across domains including Gas Marketing, CGD Business,LNG Sourcing/Trading/Shipping, Business Development, Gas Transmission, Projects Management & Gas Pipeline Operation & Maintenance. This cross functional and multifarious experience has enabled him to gain deep insight on all aspects of the gas and LNG value chain.

Shri Sanjay Kumar played an important role in developing GAIL’s overseas LNG trading subsidiary GAIL Global (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. into a standalone entity that is now well established in the global LNG business.

Shri Sanjay Kumar was GAIL’s nominee Director on the Boards of GAIL Global (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., GAIL Global (USA) LNG LLC, GAIL Global (USA) INC and Chairman of Maharashtra Natural Gas Ltd (MNGL). He was Managing Director of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), the largest CNG distribution Company of India before assuming the Charge of Director (Marketing), GAIL.

Mr. Atul Kumar Tripathi is a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT-BHU and MBA (HR & Marketing) with rich and diverse experience accumulating more than 31 years with GAIL (India) Limited, spread across O&M of Pipeline, Projects, Petrochemicals & Gas Processing Units.

He has worked in almost all business verticals of GAIL that allowed him to gain insights across multiple business units and functional areas in the Oil & Gas sector.

Earlier, he was on the Board of Bhagyanagar Gas Limited (BGL) as Director.

He has headed the Operation & Maintenance of various pipelines network covering the HVJ, DUPL, GREP, DVPL-I & II & VDPL from Dibiyapur, Hazira & Vijaipur. He has also lead the Project & Construction Teams for the Vijaipur - Auriaya - Phulpur connectivity under the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga Pariyojana.

He has in-depth experience of Operation & Maintenance of various Gas Turbines/Steam Turbines of multiple manufacturers and was one of the committee members associated with Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for development of Natural Gas Flow Measurement Standards, which were implemented for the first time in India. Currently he is heading the BIS Sectional -Committee for revision of Measurement of Petroleum and related products for the programme of work of Weights & Measures.

Presently, he is heading the GAIL’s Southern Region (Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu & Kerala) as Executive Director.

Shri Supriya Halder is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad and also holds an MBA degree. He has a rich and diverse experience over 31 years with GAIL in Materials Management covering the entire ambit of procurement, contracting, inventory, policy formulation etc. He has also led Marketing activities relating to Sourcing/Selling of LNG and RLNG, Regasification, Charter hiring of LNG ships, Contract Management and Operations related to Shipping etc. He also spearheaded Corporate Communication and Corporate Affairs and enhanced image building and branding of the organization.

During his tenure in GAIL, he always thrived for amelioration, streamlining and simplifying the systems, fairness transparency in the processes and overall efficiency and effectiveness. He contributed in formulating Public Procurement Bill and it’s Rules by Deptt. Of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. He was associated with various important Projects of GAIL.

As Managing Director of Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited (MNGL), Pune, he was instrumental in turn around of the organization in respect of development of various geographical areas, efficient operations, overall growth, cultural change etc.

He was on the Board of Goa Natural Gas Limited, Goa and Purba Bharati Gas Pvt. Ltd., Guwahati. He has also held the post of Member Secretary, Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (a sporting body of Oil and Gas PSUs) for 4 years and is known for taking various initiatives and contributing in promotion of different sports in Petroleum Sector and in the Country.

Presently, he is heading the GAIL’s Contract and Procurement Department as Executive Director.

Shri Shaligram Mowar, an Instrumentation Engineering Graduate from IIT, Kharagpur and PGDBA in Operations & Finance Management, is having rich and diverse experience accumulating nearly 34 years with GAIL (India) Limited in the Natural Gas Sector encompassing Erection, Commissioning & Operations of LPG/GPU Projects, O&M of NG Pipeline, LNG Terminal & Re-Gasification and Marketing functions.

He has in-depth experience of Operation & Maintenance in LPG/GPU plant, LNG Terminal, Compressor Station, Natural Gas P/L Network , HRSG etc. having major equipment like Compressors, Gas Turbines, Pumps, DCS/PLC, Flow-Metering Systems etc. He is an astute professional in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Sector. As Chief Operating Officer (COO) of M/s Konkan LNG Limited, he was involved in demerger of M/s Konkan LNG Limited from M/s RGPPL, and under his tenure he had successfully led the company to performance turn around & financial stability.

At present, he is leading GAIL-Southern Region spread across Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Kerala as Executive Director O&M and Zonal In-charge & looking after O&M, Marketing & Project activities in the region.

Shri Sanjay Agarwal is a Chemical Engineering Graduate from IIT, BHU, Varanasi in year 1990. He started his career as Graduate Engineer Trainee in Gas Authority of India Limited (now GAIL India Limited) in 1990 when the Gail was installing its first Gas Processing Plant at Vijaipur, Guna.

Shri Agarwal had worked under different capacities in different departments in various GAIL locations and its subsidiary. He is having rich experience of more than 33 years in field of Business Development, Operations, Commissioning, Project Execution, Formation and managing of Joint Venture Companies. He was instrumental in execution & commissioning of Polymer unit of BCPL (A Subsidiary of GAIL).

Shri Agarwal was also instrumental in setting of Coal Gasification based Fertiliser Project of Talcher Fertiliser and served as Chief Operating Officer for Talcher Fertiliser Ltd for 3years. Presently, he is working as Executive Director (Training) at GAIL Training Institute

Shri S. Sampath, a Chartered Accountant & having a Masters in Commerce, He has a vast experience of over 3 decade in Finance and Accounts in Oil & Natural Gas. He is an astute professional with qualitative expertise in Finance & Accounts, IndAS, and Taxation including International Taxation, Budgeting, Management Accounting, Treasury, Contract Management, & Policy Framework. He is instrumental in Digitization of various financial Processes like Robotic Process Automation, Automation of Various Employees claims, etc. in Gail (India) Limited. He is having experience in faculty in the various programmes/workshops organised by ICAI.

Mr. S. Sampath is also a founder Member in Society of Petroleum Accountant to resolve the issues relating to Oil & Gas Sectors.

Smt Sunrita Hazra is presently working as Secretary, Industry, Commerce & Enterprise Deptt, Govt of West Bengal and also holding the position of Managing Director, WEBEL. She has completed her higher studies in English Literature from the Presidency College and the Jadavpur University. In her 32-year-long career in administration, she has served in various capacities in six districts of this State and in five departments of the Government of West Bengal. Before taking over her present assignment, she was Director, Mass Education Extension, Govt of West Bengal.

Sri Biswanath Chakraborty is presently working as Additional Secretary, Industry, Commerce & Enterprise Deptt, Govt of West Bengal. He has done his Msc in Economics. In his 27-year-long career in administration, he has served in various capacities in the districts of this State. Among other areas he worked in East Medinipur, North Dinajpur Districts, Women and Child Development Departments, Director of Industries etc. He is also the Managing Director of Sugar Development Corporation of West Bengal.
